nerve-damage

Neuropathy is a condition that can affect the nerves that control muscles, detect sensations or those that affect internal organs.
When nerves are damaged by chemicals, inflammation, trauma surgery, compression, turmors infection, or other factors a host of symptoms can arise.
Studies have shown that Thermography is a useful adjunctive tool in assessing nerve damage, particularly when other tests of structure such as CT and MRI scan do not find an abnormality. Skin temperature distribution shown on a Thermography image is an important aid in the diagnosis and management of various neuromuscular causes of pain such as nerve root impingement.
